Destiny cannot be changed. Just like the truth, however it is turned, destiny is always constant no matter how long it takes to attain.

Many at times, the bearer may not know what he or she has been destined to become, it takes spiritual consultation, revelation, sometimes prophecy, to know what one has been destined for and how it would happen.

Lamido Sanusi Lamido, the newly appointed 16th Emir of Kano who was once deposed from the same position in 2020 can be likened to be a child of destiny. Although, before he ascended the throne in 2014, He has always coveted the highly revered Emir of Kano throne and this was conspicuous in some of the interviews conducted for him but he didn’t know how it would happen.

The story of Sanusi Lamido’s emergence as the Emir of Kano in 2014 could be described as ‘Reproach to Glory’; he was suspended as the governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria and was just about the be arrested before he was chosen to replace the deceased Emir, Ado Bayero, who was his granduncle.

It cannot however be said that Sanusi Lamido was oblivious that he would someday become Emir of Kano but the circumstances that would lead to it wasn’t what anyone envisaged, not even Sanusi if not for the prophetic revelation of Primate Ayodele which he shared in 2012 during an interview with Global Excellence magazine.

Primate Ayodele, a renowned prophet, known for his very controversial prophecies in a special series of the magazine publication clearly stated that Sanusi Lamido would have troubles securing a second term as CBN Governor but he would become the Emir of Kano. Additionally, Primate Ayodele divulged that Sanusi would still face issues as Emir – remember this was 2012 while Sanusi was in his glory days as CBN governor.

These were his words, ‘’Lamido Sanusi will face big troubles trying to get a second term as CBN governor but I forsee him becoming an Emir but even at that, he will face challenges.”

Two years down the line, ex-president Goodluck Jonathan suspended Sanusi as CBN governor over alleged “various acts of financial recklessness and misconduct.” This fulfilled the first part of Primate Ayodele’s prophecy regarding Sanusi’s second term as apex bank’s governor.

Ordinarily, Sanusi’s suspension would have been followed with an arrest but three months later, while investigations were still going on, he was announced as the Emir of Kano. This was exactly as Primate Ayodele arranged it in his prophecy which was two years old when all these were happening.

Sequentially, the third part of the prophecy which was about Sanusi having issues as Emir of Kano happened six years later, after the other two came to fruition already. It’s obvious they were not guesswork or permutation but actual representation of what prophecy should be.

In 2020, Sanusi was dethroned as Emir of Kano by former governor Abdullahi Ganduje for insubordination and four years later, He was reinstated.

Furthermore, it is worthy of note that Primate Ayodele foretold the dethronement of Aminu Ado Bayero, the newly deposed Emir of Kano, during a prophecy session in March 2023. His dethronement made way for Sanusi Lamido to be reinstated as the Emir after four years. This is nothing but DESTINY.

The mystery behind these events isn’t basically about what happened but how Primate Ayodele was able to succinctly capture events that happened across more than a decade with just a few lines of prophecy in 2012. The words of Primate Ayodele about Sanusi were short in 2012 but mysteriously, they have defined the remarkable happenings in his life for about 12 years.
