A Nigeria Indigenous Online News Platform Popularly called Urban Express News (www.urbanexpresslive.com) have won an ever Green Awards category of the Nigeria Green Award.
The award, according to the Organizers found Urban Express News Worthy of its highest category after it followed through the process of nomination from worthy Nigerians of different strata in helping to vote in the said category where the Online news Platform came first among its contemporaries after voting, the organizers have said
Dr Agunloye, a Principal Lecturer at the University of Lagos and Member of the Board of Trustees of the Nigeria Green Award said urban Express-News has been helping many online addicts to access quality reports, especially developing stories, more access to online news in real-time for followers on social media and other sources to get updates.
“We have been following Urban Express News for many years now and we are delighted to accept the verdict of Nigerians in picking the news Platform as the winner in the Ever Green Award categories of the Award”
The event, which was organized at Parkview hotel in Ikoyi had many other online news participants that entered into competition with the understanding of winning the award but were cut short in their bid of winning the Award.
Mr Olaleye Idowu, who Received the Award on Behalf of Urban Express News Publishers, appreciated the organizers of the award while appreciating the fact that the news platform is noticed with those attempts put in place in setting the agenda for national Developments.
