1. Twelve governors elected on the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, on Thursday escorted the Vice President, Kashim Shettima, to formally submit President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s nomination and expression of interest forms to the national officers of the party in Abuja. 2. The Federal High Court in Abuja has fixed Friday, May 8, to hear a suit seeking to stop former President Goodluck Jonathan from contesting the 2027 presidential election.
