Ice Prince has revealed that he smokes a N60,000 bag of weed every day in a recent podcast.

Glamtush reports that Nigerian rapper Panshak Zamani, popularly known as Ice Prince, has revealed that he spends N60,000 on cannabis every day, adding that he also bears the cost for the producers, artists, and writers in his circle.

The Jos-raised artiste disclosed during an appearance on the Nevon podcast, hosted by media personality Rufai Oseni, in an episode uploaded to YouTube on Wednesday

Ice Prince noted that his daily expenditure increases when he has company, as he typically foots the bill for everyone around him.

“I smoke N60,000 bag of weed every day. So if you can smoke N60,000 bags of weed every day, that’s on the basic,” he said.

“When I have people around me, obviously I’m the one who’s buying the weed. There’s always boys around me, whether it’s producers or whether it’s artists, writers, they’re always around me. They don’t buy weed from me. I’m the one who’s always buying,” he said.

Despite the habit, the Oleku crooner insisted that he was financially stable.

“I’m very okay. Very comfortable. I’m comfortable by God’s grace,” he said.

On a separate note, Ice Prince credited his producer and longtime friend, identified simply as Chopstix, with motivating him to lose weight and embrace a healthier lifestyle.

He said the producer, who he noted worked on Burna Boy’s Last Last and a Grammy-winning Chris Brown album, had approached him during their joint EP project, Starters, and advised him to work on his stomach.

“Before we worked on that project, Chopstix just said something to me that sunk a little bit different. He just said, you know, this project, we could drop out and we could just give them new look. I think you should just cut
the belly. We’ll just start to exercise a little bit,” Ice Prince recalled.

He said the advice had been offered before, but the manner of delivery was what made the difference. “It’s not like I had not heard that before, but the way he said it to me was just different. It hit me different,” he said.

Beyond the words,Chopstix reportedly backed his advice with action, arriving at Ice Prince’s home every evening for weeks to walk with him.

“He started coming to my house every day to take walks with me. So every day at 8 pm, he would come to my house and we would walk for an hour. He did that for at least two to three weeks before he actually stopped coming. And I just started doing it on my own,” the rapper said.

Ice Prince described Chopstix as a true friend, saying, “I want to say shout out to Chopstix because he’s a true friend who was there for me.”
