Comrade Adams Oshiomhole has been suspended as the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Justice Danlami Senchi of the FCT High Court in Jabi, Abuja on Wednesday ordered Oshiomhole to temporarily step down pending the determination of the substantive suit seeking his perpetual removal as the APC chairman.
The suit seeking the removal of Oshiomhole was filed by some members of the party in Edo state who had previously suspended him at the state level.
The court held that the party wrongfully continued to retain him as its National Chairman while he is under suspension as a member of the party.
Comrade Adams Oshomole has been in the eye of the storm lately, as he was recently suspended by his party at his Ward, Local Government and State levels. It was on this premise the injunction application was grounded. Allegations that triggered his suspension include; alleged Highhandedness, Misappropriation of funds and Disregard for the rule of law.
The judge, therefore, ordered Oshiomhole to stop parading himself as the National Chairman of the party and directed the party to cease acknowledging him in that regard.
He also ordered the party to deny him access to the party secretariat.
