Ooni of Ife has welcomed a set of twin boys with Olori Mariam.
Glamtush reports that Ooni of Ife, Adeyeye Ogunwusi, and his wife Mariam Ajibola have welcomed a set of twin boys.
The revered monarch shared the news in a social media post on Friday, where he expressed gratitude to God for the safe delivery of the babies and the well-being of their mother.
“To God be all the glory and adoration for His wondrous works and abundant blessings once again!
“Warmest congratulations to the entire House of Oduduwa and to Olori Mariam Ajibola on the joyous arrival of twin princes to the royal throne of Oduduwa today.
“We give thanks to Almighty God as both mother and children are in good health,” the post read.
The latest birth adds to the growing royal household of the traditional ruler, who has welcomed several children in recent years.
Mariam Ajibola married the Ooni in 2022, shortly after the collapse of his marriage to former queen Silekunola Naomi.
She is one of the wives of the monarch alongside Folashade Ashley Adegoke, Elizabeth Akinmuda, Temitope Adesegun, and Ronke Ademiluyi.
Oba Ogunwusi was previously married to Adebukola Bombata. His 2016 marriage to Zaynab Wuraola Otiti also ended in separation.
