Africa’s premiere photo challenge reality tv show Photo Star Quest audition and photo shoot is currently on-going today in Lagos.
The event which is taking place at Walgreen Hotel, Lekki is designed as a platform for young people with talent, skills and creativity to showcase themselves, express their inner beauty and add value through photo-taking adventure.
The contest is open to all categories of talented youths across Africa, between ages 18 and 28 years. By conservative calculations, about 1000 entries or more have been received from 37 states of Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Ivory Coast, Togo, Southern Africa, United Kingdom and still counting said the organizers.
The organisers also revealed that there is an alternative online assessment made for those who are unable to attend the audition and photo shoot today.
According to the organisers, intending contestants for the Photo Star Quest, who could not register for the contest earlier due to some constraints, will be given the opportunity to come for the free audition and photo-shoot with their costumes and be registered on arrival at the venue. The costumes for the shoot are native or creative attire, plain black or white top on black or blue jean, corporate wear and the footwear could be; heel, flat, sneakers and men’s shoes.
The first phase of the contest will commence on January 26 and run till February 19 when the main TV reality show will kick-off.
After 30 days of the contest in a luxury apartment aired to millions of audience on global TV networks and Online platforms, the winner is expected to go home with a brand new car sponsored by a leading car company, over 1 million Naira worth of deals, N500,000 instant cash prize and brand endorsement. While the top 3 best housemates will smile home with N300, 000 cash prize each and brand endorsement deals.
In addition, a leading pharmaceutical giant in Nigeria and makers of LUMAPIL and PARATEX malaria drugs, Pharmatex Industries Limited will be signing top housemates as its global ambassadors plus special prize rewards.
