Woli Agba, who had earlier urged the public to remain calm amid rumours of the singer’s death following an Instagram post by lawyer and activist Pelumi Olajengbesi mourning the loss of young Nigerians and pleading for mercy, has now confirmed the news. In a post a few minutes ago, he said Toluwanisings “dropped the microphone and walked off the stage just like that.”
The content creator wrote:
“Ah! Toluwanisings!
“An angel just passed on.”“A VERY UNIQUE VOICE has dropped the microphone and walked off the stage just like that.
“What a painful and heartbreaking loss! A voice that brought joy, touched souls, and made beautiful memories has gone silent too soon. Life can be so unpredictable; one moment, we are celebrating life, and the next, we are struggling to find the words to express our grief.
“Toluwanisings, your departure has left a painful void in the hearts of many. It is difficult to understand, and even more difficult to accept. Some departures leave us speechless, and this is one of them.
“May the Almighty God comfort your family, friends, colleagues, fans, and everyone whose life you touched. May He grant us the strength to bear this painful loss, and may the beautiful memories you leave behind bring comfort in this season of sorrow.
“Can’t believe I am typing all these 🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲 Ohhh LORD! Life is freaking Fickle.
“Sing with the Angels, Bro.”
Meanwhile, Glamtush reports that the late singer was known for tracks and anthems like “Kos’oluwa Laye,” “A Very Big God,” “Eleda,” “Ase Ti Jade” (featuring Adeyinka Alaseyori), and “I’m Not Alone”.
Toluwanisings gained wider recognition in 2021 after comedian and content creator, Bayegun Oluwatoyin, better known as Woli Arole shared his spontaneous worship videos and music online.
