Nigerian R&B star and politician, Bankole Wellington, popularly known as Banky W, has relocated to the United States with his family.
He revealed the move on his social media accounts, saying he was relocating to pursue a Master’s degree at Georgetown University in Washington, DC.
Alongside a photo of himself, his wife, actress Adesua Etomi-Wellington, and their son at the airport, Banky W asked his followers to send their best wishes as they embark on this new chapter.
In his Instagram caption, Banky W, on Monday, wrote, “For family. For finding purpose.
“For the next year of earning a Master’s degree in Policy Management at Georgetown University in Washington DC.
“Wish us well.”
Banky W was born in the US and married Adesua in 2017.
The artiste contested for the Eti-Osa Federal Constituency in Lagos State in Lagos more than once but did not win.
