Messi led Argentina to a 2-1 comeback win over England in the World Cup semi-finals, thanks to goals from Enzo Fernandez and Lautaro Martinez.
In this match, Messi completed nine successful dribbles and provided two assists.
According to official FIFA World Cup statistics, Messi has now surpassed Yamal with 24 successful dribbles.
The 39-year-old forward temporarily moved into first place on this FIFA World Cup’s successful dribble list.
