Episode 1
The story of two sisters who are embarking on a new journey to a new city. Destiny has been unkind to them. Preeta’s wedding has just been called off and the two of them have just lost their father.

Preeta and Srishti’s arrival in Mumbai is filled with twists and turns. The two girls find themselves in a compromising situation and Abhi comes to the rescue. He then takes them to Sarla’s house for shelter.

Karan and Preeta keep having unpleasant encounters with each other. Conflict between Sarla and Srishti keeps rising when Srishti shows constant interest in Tanu.

Sarla decides to not tell the girls that she is their mother. She calls Pragya, who is disguised by Munni, to ask for advice. Sarla is feeling bad for the moments she lost with her girls.

Rishabh’s grandmother makes Preeta’s life in the Luthra house a living nightmare. Srishti gets arrested. Sarla hears the inspector at the police station insulting her, she then blurts out the truth about her being her daughter.

Rakhi is still on the lookout for a bride for Rishabh. He is held-bent on not getting married, but he is developing feelings for Preeta. Sarla decides to take a harsh approach to keep her two daughters in her house.

Tanu calls Sarla to rub salt on her wounds about their debt. Rishabh seems to be growing a soft spot for Preeta. A ruby from Kritika’s jewellery gets lost, Kareena immediately blames Preeta for this.

Srishti reaches out to Sarla in her time of need. It’s Kritika’s engagement ceremony. Rishabh’s feelings for Preeta keep getting stronger by the minute.

Srishti spots Rishabh lovingly starring at Preeta. She makes the conclusion that he has feelings for her. She tells the wrong person about it, Karan, who then interrogates Preeta.
