It is goodbye, Sara and welcome, Vicenta. The interesting telenovela, Woman of Steel 3 (Senora Acero) returns with a new woman with the Acero blood in charge in its third season which will be coming to Telemundo in March.
Season 2 saw the end of the story of drug trafficker and strong willed Sara Aguilar and Season 3 introduces viewers to someone new, Vicenta Rigores, played by Carolina Miranda.
Vicenta is a Mexican border coyote who helps immigrants cross the border between Mexico and America. She’s one of the most respected coyote’s in Mexico because immigrants love her – she protects them with her life.
Of course there are those who want her dead and she has the chops to handle them because it turns out she’s the illegitimate daughter of drug trafficker and Sara’s first husband, Vicente Acero, and half-sister of Salvador Acero of Seasons 1 and 2 so she has close connections to Sara.
The series follows Vicenta’s exploits as she takes on the Acero name, replacing Sara as Señora Acero. When the series aired in America it aired as Señora Acero but it remains Woman of Steel for us.
Woman of Steel 3 premieres on Telemundo on Monday, March 26 at 22h00.
