A lecturer at Imo State University (IMSU) identified as Dr. Desmond Izunwanne has been seen slapping and harassing a student in a lecture hall before other students.
The lecturer who was inquiring why the student came to class in “mufti”, slapped her repeatedly even after she (student) told him that she came to class from the hospital but this did not calm the lecturer.
Izunwanne slapped her after her response while saying that ‘everyone is making an excuse of coming from the hospital.’ He slapped her again because, according to him, she “decided to come like that.” He was then heard telling the student to kneel down.
The video has caused so much negative reaction on Twitter.
