Social critic, Verydarkman has mobilized a nationwide protests over economic hardship.
Glamtush reports that popular social media critic, Martins Vincent Otse, populalrly known as Verydarkman, has called for a nationwide protest across Nigeria over the ongoing economic hardship.
The announcement of the national protest was made through his Instagram page as he implored the youths to storm out in mass on July 29 and August 5th to pour their frustration on the government.
The social critic expressed dissatisfaction with the administration of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He criticized the current government, highlighting the rising costs of foodstuffs, transportation, and rent, while salaries remain insufficient and are often delayed.
The statement emphasized that the people cannot continue living under such conditions and called for urgent action to demand solutions from the government.
Verydarkman urged the youth to unite and stand together with a clear plan and set priorities to ensure their concerns are taken seriously. They stressed the importance of not being exploited by those with hidden agendas.
He called for a protest, encouraging participation alongside youth leaders who can effectively represent everyone’s interests, aiming to apply pressure on the government in a strategic and impactful manner.
He said, “As a person I boldly as I do not like Asiwaju bola Ahmed tinubu administration is as if the people are seen as fullz, we cannot continue like this ENOUGH IS ENOUGH, see the price of foodstuffs, see the prices of transportation and see the prices of rent yet the salaries are poor and they come in late.
We cannot continue like this and we have to do something about this and make sure the government give us a solution,dear youth we should stand but stand with an outlined solution and priorities so we will be taken seriously and so we will not be taken advantaged of by the people that have their own agenda, PROTEST PROTEST yes we will protest along side youth leaders that can speak on everyones behalf,let’s pepper them the right way.”
In his words, “The Hardship in Nigeria is too much Food stuff and Transportation is very expensive, Salaries very low Enough is Enough, we have to come out in Mass on the 29th of July/5th of August and Protest.”
