1. A Federal High Court in Abuja on Friday granted an indefinite adjournment in a suit filed by an aggrieved chieftain of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Nafiu-Bala Gombe, challenging the legitimacy of the David Mark-led leadership of the party. Justice Emeka Nwite took the decision in a ruling after taking arguments from lawyers to the parties in the suit.
2. An attempt by some state governors of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to remove their Imo State counterpart, Hope Uzodimma as chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum, PGF, has hit the rocks.
