The Chairman of LOPE Media Network, Justice Mmadubugwu, has joined millions around the world to commemorate the International Day of the Girl Child 2025, celebrating the courage, leadership, and resilience of girls who continue to make a difference in their families and communities.

This year’s global theme, “The Girl I Am, The Change I Lead: Girls on the Frontlines of Crisis,” highlights the important roles girls play in driving transformation and overcoming challenges, even in difficult times.

In his goodwill message, Justice Mmadubugwu described girls as “the heartbeat of hope and the architects of tomorrow,” stressing the need to create more opportunities that allow them to grow, learn, and lead.

“At LOPE Media Network, we believe in the power of storytelling that uplifts and empowers. The girl child is not just a symbol of the future but an active force shaping the present. Every girl deserves the right to education, safety, and equal opportunity to lead change,” he said.

He further encouraged society to invest more in the education, safety, and creativity of girls, noting that empowering them is one of the surest ways to build stronger, more inclusive communities.

“When we give girls a voice and a platform, we amplify progress for everyone. The world becomes brighter when every girl can dream and achieve without limits,” he added.

Justice Mmadubugwu reaffirmed LOPE Media Network’s continued support for causes that highlight gender equality, youth empowerment, and positive social change through responsible media advocacy.

“Happy International Day of the Girl Child,” he concluded.
