Glamtush reports that Star Life’s new series Laxmi with the Hindi title, Main Lakshmi Tere Aangan Ki, premieres on Monday, December 26 at 18h00, replacing Love by Chance, which ends the day before.
Here’s what you need to know about the new telenovela followed by the teasers for December 2022.
- Laxmi is the prequel to Dream Girl, which aired on Star Life in May this year. Both series star Shraddha Arya.
- Laxmi’s name is Lakshmi in the original Hindi version titled Main Lakshmi Tere Aangan Ki.
- The name refers to the Hindu deity Lakshmi – she’s the goddess of wealth, fortune and power. You’ll see how this relates to the lead character in the teasers.
- The series is about the situation you face when you fancy someone but haven’t met them. How do you get to know them? And how do you get dirty with them once you do?
- Laxmi’s a bit sweeter than that but still, this is her intention, even if she won’t admit it.
- She’s in love with the rich Arjun Agnihotri and dreams of marrying him but she faces two problems: she’s never met him and he already has a wife.
