Glamtush reports that tragedy struck the Jemilla community when 17-year-old Sarah Aghahowa’s life was allegedly cut short by alleged poisoning.
The incident occurred on October 21, in Jemilla community, near Ramark Park, along Benin-Agbor Road, leaving a family and community in mourning.
Sarah, a bright and ambitious young girl, had just gained admission to study Psychology at the University of Delta (UNIDEL), Agbor. Her excitement about starting this new chapter of her life was palpable, but fate had other plans.
According to reports, it was her stepmother who allegedly administered the poison that led to her untimely demise.
The stepmother has been arrested and is currently facing investigations. The authorities are working tirelessly to unravel the circumstances surrounding this heinous act. The community is still grappling with the aftermath, trying to make sense of why such a horrific crime would be committed.
