Nigerian female striker and Lagos State Sports Ambassador, Asisat Oshoala, has joined FC Barcelona Women’s team, FC Barcelona Femeni.
She will be wearing the jersey number 20 for the club.
Oshoala excitedly announced the good news with her fans on her Instagram page as she wrote:
“Delighted to have joined @fcbfemeni ????????”
On her Twitter handle, Oshoala expressed her delight at joining the football club on loan from her Chinese club, Dalian Quanjian F.C.
She tweeted, “Delighted to join @FCBfemeni on loan. 2019 let’s go.”
The three-time African women footballer of the year underwent medicals at the club earlier today before finally signing up with the Catalans.
Futbol Club Barcelona Femení is a women’s football team from Barcelona founded as Club Femení Barcelona in 1988. It is the women’s section of FC Barcelona. It is one of the most successful women’s football teams in Spain.
