“Your death has robbed us of a genuinely warm and affectionate colleague, a loving wife and mother, and deprived so many of us of a good friend. This is another dark moment in the annals of our great association, and we are all shocked by your sudden demise given your pivotal roles in and around sports broadcasting and activism.

“We are distraught over the incident as you had always volunteered to help improve the lots of SWAN, Journalism, and humanity. Your determination to carry on with great courage despite the challenge you faced by way of grave illness demonstrated your fighting spirit and doggedness. This is quite exemplary.”

“We will sorely miss your immeasurable contributions to Kogi SWAN and the NUJ in the state as you rendered outstanding services to journalism and humanity. While we mourn this loss, we pray that God will grant your soul eternal rest, comfort the family, colleagues at Radio Kogi and the Kogi NUJ you left behind.”
