1. President, Muhammadu Buhari, on Friday, laid the 2023 Appropriation Bill before a joint session of the National Assembly. The bill was tagged, ‘Budget of Fiscal Sustainability and Transition.’ However, the key provisions in the proposed N20.51tn budget have attracted mixed reactions from major stakeholders.

The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Senator Iyorchia Ayu, on Friday, broke his silence on the controversies surrounding the return of over N100m housing allowance to the party’s coffers by some National Working Committee members.
