Governor Sanwo-Olu stormed the venue of Hilda Baci Cook-A-Thon to show Hilda Baci his support.
Hilda Baci born Hilda Effiong Bassey from Akwa Ibom State is on the verge of breaking the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking time by an individual.
She started cooking on May 11th at Amore Gardens, Lekki, Lagos State.
This online platform understands that the current record for the longest cooking time by an individual is held by Chef Lata Tondon, who was reported to have spent 87 hours, 45 minutes, and 00 seconds cooking in Rewa, India, in 2019.
Baci, 27, disclosed that she became “infatuated with the world record” since childhood. The chef said that she will make her five-year-long dream a reality, stating that she will cook for four days and four nights to break Chef Tondon’s record.
She owns an event catering company known as Myfood By Hilda Baci.
He wrote on his Instagram page, “I showed up to support Chef Hilda Baci, in her quest to break the Guinness World Record @guinnessworldrecords for the longest time spent cooking by an individual.
“Her dedication, passion for cooking as well as her desire to put our rich culture on the map by not only exhibiting our food but also the resilience, determination, energy and team spirit that has come to be known as the spirit of Lagos and indeed Nigeria is truly remarkable.
“We are proud to have Hilda embarking on this journey in our state. I will continue to follow the updates and look forward to the final declaration.”
