Music Superstar Flavour will perform at the Solution Fun City opening.
Glamtush reports that as Governor Charles Soludo’s administration makes plans to open the world-class Solution Fun City to the public, the Anambra State Executive Council (ANSEC) at its 12th meeting at the Light House Awka, has approved a foremost Anambra State-born music star, Chinedu Okoli, popularly known as Flavour, to lead other musicians such as Umu-Obiligbo to the grand fiesta.
According to the State’s Commissioner for Information, Law Mefor, ANSEC has decided to open Solution Fun City on Saturday, June 28th, and the event is free to the citizens of the state.
The sprawling Solution Fun City, the largest in Africa, is part of Governor Soludo’s transformation drive in Anambra, aiming to create a place where people can play, enjoy, and relax.
During President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s recent visit to the state, the facility was among the landmark infrastructure projects commissioned. The newly built Government House and Lodge, a mini city now called the ‘Light House’, incorporates the Deputy Governor’s building, the Governor’s Office, 24 other structures, a world-class amphitheatre, and an auditorium. Also commissioned was the eight-lane Emeka Anyaoku Boulevard, and other laudable projects.
Overwhelmed with what he saw, President Tinubu said, “Anambra is rising and we are ready to work with you,” a demonstration of the confidence in the governor’s administration.
Governor Soludo’s transformation of vital sectors of the state’s economy is evident in areas such as education and health, where he has been recognized as the most performing governor in primary healthcare in the Southeast region and overall, nationally. Additionally, he has made significant strides in transportation, innovation, human capital development, security, agriculture, and other key sectors.
Commending the governor, President Tinubu said this has shown he is progressive, that despite the party differences, he likes achievers like him, and the relationship that exists between them.
The formal opening of the mini city to house the Governor, his deputy and several other facilities of the state was opened for the public during the opening ceremony and has thereafter become operational.
