Father Arrested For Raping His Three-Year-Old Daughter While His Wife Was In Labour Room

Nigerian Police Force has a 43-year-old man identified as Ikechukwu Ekenta, for allegedly raping his 3-year-old daughter, Kamsiyochukwu Ekenta in Anambra State.

Ekenta who is from Ikeduru-Ogwah, Mbaitolu Local Government Area of Imo State, was said to have an abominable act on April 28 while his wife was in the hospital to deliver their child.

Narrating her ordeal, Kamsimyochukwu, who is 3 years and 10 months old, said her daddy put his “komkom” (Penis) inside her private part while she was asleep. She said the sharp pain woke her up.

Speaking at the Professor Dora Akunyili Women Development Center in Awka, the alleged rapist blamed the act on the devil, saying he was pushed by an evil spirit to rape his child.

Mr. Ekenta said whenever the spirit came, he would start behaving abnormally and on that fateful, he used his finger to defile the girl as the urge came.

On how she found out, the wife of the alleged rapist, Mrs Uzoamaka Ekenta, said upon her return from the hospital, she noticed her child was acting like she was in pain while bathing her. She questioned the girl and she accused her dad of penetrating her.

Mrs Ekenta said she asked her husband what transpired and he admitted committing the crime but claimed he only used his finger. They took the girl to the hospital where it was noticed that he used his penis, not his hands as he claimed.

The Commissioner For Women And Children Affairs, Lady Ndidi Mezue, said the man’s action was an abominable act and condemnable in all ramifications lamenting that the child is still in pains. She said he will face the full weight of the law.
