The Ikirun Police Area Command in Osun state reportedly supervised the exhumation of the body of a 4-year-old girl that was allegedly buried alive in a church in Ikirun.
The church, Christ Gospel Apostolic Church, located at Orita Gbona, Palace area in Ikirun has been shut down and the pastor, Ogundapo Lere, arrested according to reports.
An eyewitness told newsmen that the DPO, Sani Hassan ordered his men to exhume the corpse from the Church premises for autopsy.
The Church building was surrounded by a team of policemen with their patrol vehicle who blocked the entrance of the Church to prevent people from going in and coming out of the premises while the Police Area Command, Ekoende road in Ikirun confirmed the incident.
