Kshom finds the real Jia and Shekhar tries to exchange Nisna with Jia before anyone finds out. Nisna thinks she’s won the lottery in the Pandey house. Shekhar continues to fake concern for Jia. Nisna slips up and comes home drunk.

Nethra seems to have her eye on Samar. Nisna is reaping the rewards of resembling Jia. Jia misses her mother and goes to see her.

Nethra finds a way to get closer to Samar. Jia’s neighbors question Shekhar’s relationship to her. In response, Shekhar claims Jia is his wife.

Kadam arrests Jia claiming she’s Nisna. Gyan, Rukmini and Kshom visit Jia in jail and her answers to their questions shock even Kadam. After seeing Jia in jail, Kshom can’t shake an uneasy feeling. Jia is attacked in jail.

Jia is taken to prison. Rani helps Jia escape from jail. Kshom starts suspecting Nisna and keeps an eye on her. Kshom moves Anusuya to a safe place. Jia swears to prove herself to Kshom.

Shekhar is released on parole and comes home, but Rukmini’s behavior towards him, hurts Gyan. It is the day of the fast and Nethra wants Samar to feed her and break her fast.
