Governor Adeleke has stressed that dancing doesn’t stop him from doing his job.
Glamtush reports that Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has defended his famous dancing style, saying it does not stop him from performing his duties as governor.
Adeleke stated this during an interview on Channels Television’s Sunday Politics, where he also promised to keep delivering on his commitments to the people of Osun State.
The governor, popularly known as the “Dancing Governor,” said he would teach President Bola Tinubu some of his dance steps when he visits the President to celebrate his re-election victory.
Adeleke has often described dancing as a hobby, a way of praising God and a means of relieving stress. His dancing has, however, attracted criticism from political opponents, who have questioned whether his public displays project the seriousness expected of a governor.
Despite the criticism, Adeleke has continued to embrace his dancing persona while maintaining that it does not interfere with his responsibilities as governor.
