LOPE has urged Nigerians to uphold unity and progress as Nigeria celebrates its 65th Independence anniversary.
Glamtush reports that the League of Online Publishers and Editors (LOPE Media Network) has joined millions of Nigerians in celebrating the nation’s 65th Independence anniversary, while calling for renewed unity and patriotism among citizens.
In the association’s congratulatory message, it described Nigeria’s 65-year journey as remarkable, filled with challenges, lessons, and achievements that reflect the resilience of the nation.
“Nigeria at 65 is a testament to our collective strength as a people. Despite our differences, we have remained united in our diversity, weathering storms and celebrating milestones. This anniversary should inspire us to deepen our commitment to peace, progress, and national development,” the message said.
Reaffirming LOPE Media Network’s role in national growth, Justice Mmadubugwu, the chairman of LOPE, emphasized the importance of the media as a catalyst for positive change, advocacy, and accountability in strengthening Nigeria’s democracy.
He urged Nigerians both at home and in the diaspora to work together in building a nation where justice, equity, and prosperity can thrive.
“Happy 65th Independence Anniversary to our beloved nation. Long live Nigeria. It is a time to look inward, embrace our strengths, and rise above divisions. With shared vision and dedication, we can build a Nigeria that future generations will be proud to inherit,” he added.
