American singer Tina Turner has lost her 62-year-old son.
Glamtush reports that Ronnie Turner, actor and son of legendary American-Swiss singer, Tina Turner, has died at the age of 62.
While the circumstances surrounding his death are still unclear, TMZ reports that law enforcement had received an emergency call from Ronnie’s residence in San Fernando, Los Angeles on Thursday.
The caller stated that the actor was outside his home and was having difficulties breathing.
On getting to the scene, paramedics pronounced him dead after attempts to resuscitate him proved futile.
His wife, Afida Turner, expressed her sorrow over the loss via her Instagram page on Friday.
Afida, who shared photos of her late husband, described him as her “best friend” with a “huge soul.”
“My God, Ronnie Turner, a true angel, huge soul, highly spiritual, my husband my best friend my baby,” she wrote in all caps. “I, your mummy, your nurse.
I did the best to the end this time, I was not able to save you. Love you for this 17 years. This is very very very bad. I am very mad. This is a tragedy. You with your brother Craig, and your father Ike Turner, and Aline rest in paradise aaaaa. So unfair.”
Tina Turner, 83, had earlier lost her first son, Craig Raymond, who committed suicide at the age of 60 in 2018.
Reports from authorities stated that Craig died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound at his home in Studio City, California.
