Zee World’s Married Again is now airing in Pidgin on Televista. This is good news for fans of the series, especially Nigerians.
Married Again, with the Indian title Punar Vivah, was among the first set of telenovelas that premiered on Zee World channel 166 on DStv when it began.
It would be recalled that the series was returned to Zee World in December 2015 and 2017 due to popular demand.
Televista TV, a Nigerian English-language broadcast television network owned by Consolidated Media Associates, has now dubbed the series in pidgin English to entertain its Nigerian audience. Another series that is being aired in pidgin on the channel is a romantic drama television series, Fire & Ice, with the Indian title, Tashan-E-Ishq, which had previously aired on Zee World.
Married Again is about two individuals – Yash and Aarti. Based in Bhopal, Yash Scindia is a wealthy widower living with his two daughters, Payal and Palak. Aarti is a divorcée and lives with her son Ansh. Yash is a wedding planner. Their loveless marriage blossomed into a beautiful family after many lies, trials, betrayals, and loss.
The series starred Kratika Sengar Dheer as Aarti Scindia and Gurmeet Choudhary as Yash Scindia.
