Zara’s Nikah 28 September 2020 update starts as Kabir sees Reema calling. Zara wipes her tears as Alina comes there. Alina says let’s go, we are late. Kabir says um…Reema says to Imran that I am worried something happened to Zara. I asked Alina to let me talk to Zara or Kabir but she is not picking up the call too, Imran says I will go and check.

Alina asks Zara what happened? why are you crying? Zara says I will talk to you later, Reema invited you with love so go. Kabir says you are telling this to Alina but not understanding that? She is your friend and you are putting it on stake for me? Zara says you are putting our relationship on stake for Reema? Kabir says don’t be stubborn. Zara says you don’t see anything in front, not even your wife. Kabir says I do what is right.

Zara says fine then I will do what I think is right, I will not go to Reema’s house to celebrate Diwali. She takes off her earrings and leaves. Alina says brother.. Kabir says husband and wife fight like that, don’t worry, you can go if you want. Alina says I really wanted to go but I will not go without you both, she leaves. Kabir looks on.

Zara recalls Kabir’s words that he cant go and how Reema was so excited to see them at the party. She cries and hugs a pillar. Someone puts a hand on her shoulder, she turns to see Imran there. She looks away. Imran asks what happened? did Kabir deny to go? Zara looks down. Imran says don’t worry, you get ready, I will bring him. Zara says he won’t agree, I did everything but he didn’t agree, you will waste time. Imran says Reema and her parents are waiting for you both, what will I tell? Zara says tell them what is truth. She leaves.

In the morning, Shahbaz comes for breakfast, Alina says Ayesha has gone out for some work. Zara is taking food for Kabir but Kabir comes there and sits on the table. Zara says you will sit here? Kabir says I have to pacify someone. Zara looks away. Amaan brings firecrackers and says Reema brought them. Zeenat says keep them away, play outside, he leaves.

Shahbaz says to Kabir that I got to know what happened, we might not have celebrated Diwali but we have always celebrated with our friends so I think what you did was not right, you shouldn’t have said no to Reema, you could have handled it in such a way that Reema wouldn’t be miffed.

Kabir says truth is that I never went to Diwali parties, if you had taken me in childhood then this wouldn’t have happened. Reema comes there and shouts Zara.. all look on. Reema is in tears and says you are my best friend, you gave me the biggest happiness yesterday and also the biggest pain, you called my parents here but after yesterday I thought why did you even call them? They wouldn’t have seen me crying, they would keep believing that I have another home in this city, I celebrated Eid with you, didn’t I? you never missed Diwali but what happened yesterday? I kept waiting for you? I thought you would come and hug me, wish me Diwali but you didn’t’, I was wrong, yesterday and for many years, did religion come i between our relation and friendship? do you see me from a religious mirror now? Zara says no.

Reema says then what changed between us? it never happened before. Zara hugs her, Reema pushes her away and says answer me, what changed? Zara says I am married now, Kabir and my happiness and sadness are ones now, it’s my helplessness to accept his decisions. Kabir looks on. Reema says to Shahbaz that Kabir not celebrating Diwali means that some Muslims want to keep away from us? Shahbaz says its not like that, Reema says what happened was wrong. Kabir gets up and asks Reema to sit down.

Reema sits down. Kabir says I am not against Diwali, Holi and I can never be against you, you and Alina are the same for me, you are my friend, I would walk for you, I will be part of your happiness and sadness if I was against Diwali then would I take you for shopping for Diwali?

Not coming to your party was not my personal decision, I could be part of it but for the City, I am vice president of the sharia board. I have the responsibility towards society and they might feel bad that I became part of your Diwali party, I don’t want people to start arguing that’s why I didn’t come. Reema says fine, you represent your society and leave this friendship but remember that your, Zara, Imran and my friendship is more than two nations, she angrily leaves. Kabir looks on.

Zeenat brings ghujiya for Ruksaar and says wish you could see Zara arguing with Kabir, one side was her childhood friend Reema and another was her husband, she was stuck, I am sure their relationship will be strained till you wake up, I want that when you wake up, Kabir would not be able to divorce you.

Reema comes to Irfan’s house and cries. Reema says to Imran that you have experience of 30 years and Kabir has less experience but you never denied Zara to celebrate Diwali with me, you were always part of it then why did Kabir not allow Zara or come with her? Does it mean that Islam does not let people celebrate happiness with others? Salma looks on.

Zara makes ghujia and says I used to send it to Reema every year but I don’t know how to do it this time. Kabir comes there and says I am sorry, I feel like I am stuck in two boats, first, it was Ruksaar and now this.. you know I can’t see tears in your eyes and I am the reason for them now. Zara says I understand but how to make Reema listen? if I don’t celebrate Diwali with her then how will eid be happy for me without her?

It is not about friendship, it’s about the relationship that depends on happiness, my relation with Reema depends on happiness only which I might not get anymore. Kabir takes ghujia and says can I eat them? Zara says think its Diwali sweets. Kabir eats it and says if I can drink poison from your hands then this.. he makes a face, Zara says is it not good? Kabir says it’s awesome. Irfan calls Kabir and says come to our house with Zara, he ends call. Kabir says I will have to answer a lot of questions.

Zara and Kabir come to Irfan’s house. Irfan says I will not answer Reema, Kabir and Zara will give reasons. Irfan asks Kabir why did he not go to her party? Kabir says as a friend, I will always be with Reema but people follow me as vice president and if I celebrate Diwali then it will start a debate. Zara says you are vice, if some people are behind you then there are a lot more Muslims behind Irfan, he has far more experience but still, he always sent me to Reema’s house, Reema just wants that like I always was part of her happiness, you become part of it and take this tradition ahead. Kabir looks on.

Zara says to Kabir that Reema just wants you to be part of her happiness like I have been since childhood. Kabir says but becoming part of someone’s religious festive is against Islam, ask Irfan. Irfan says its right that we cant part of prayers of other religions but becoming part of their happiness is not wrong. Zara says to Reema that you asked Islam doesn’t allow to mingle with other religions but its a liberal religion, we don’t discriminate between people, Islam tells us to help our neighbors, if they are in pain and we are not helping then it’s on us, it’s not a condition that neighbor has to be Muslim, their religion is not defined, if we can share their pain then why not celebrate their happiness? She says to Kabir that you must know a story, an old man kept fast to please God, one man brought juice for him and said that if you drink it then I will be happy, old man broke his fast and drank it, when the people asked, the old man, said that it’s better to breakfast rather than break someone’s heart, he can fast later but human’s happiness is more than that. She says to Kabir that you bringing religion in between Reema’s happiness.

Kabir says no, I asked you to go, I never went to her house to celebrate Diwali so I don’t think that it will matter if I go or not. Zara says how can I be happy without you? all my happiness are related to you, I told you that I would go with you only otherwise no. Irfan says you both are half right, my decision is that Kabir should go to Reema’s house, it won’t affect his religion or relation with God. Kabir stares at Zara and silently leaves from there. Zara says to Reema that I am sorry that we couldn’t celebrate a small Diwali function but I am sure that Kabir will come with me to the big function, don’t worry. Reema hugs her.

The doctor checks Ruksaar and asks the nurse to take care of her.

Reema says to Zara that if Kabir is stubborn then don’t come to function, I don’t want it to be a trouble for your relation. Zara says he didn’t say no, you haven’t loved so you don’t know, I am sure, he will agree, he has to, he loves me. They come out of the house and sees Kabir waiting there. Zara says to Reema that he couldn’t leave me so how could he not agree with me, I will come to function, Reema hugs her and leaves. Zara sits in the car and says you were waiting for me? Kabir says I brought you, so it’s my duty to take you back. They start driving.

Zara says can I ask a thing? Kabir says wives keep asking, you will ask me where I am going, what should you wear, and stuff like that. Zara says you didn’t answer because you have agreed to come to the Diwali party? you cant see your wife in tears? you know that if you don’t go then I will not go and then I will cry the whole night and I will taunt you for life so you thought its better to go to the party. Kabir says no if I am saying no then it means I am not going, if you are thinking why I didn’t say no in front of all then I did it to not break Reema’s heart. Zara says I am sure you would turn. He says what? She says leave it.

Zara’s Nikah 28 September 2020 update continues as Kabir stops the car and asks her to get down. She asks why? Kabir says it’s my car and I am asking you to get down. She gets down. He says I am booking a taxi for you, I am going to meet Ruksaar. Zara says I will go with you. Kabir gets down and says now you felt bad? when I didn’t tell you the whole thing? you were doing the same for me. He says you think I would leave the person whom I love the most? Zara says I will tell you in the evening.

Zara and Kabir come to Ruksaar’s ward. Zara checks and says she has a fever. Kashan says yes, Zeenat was tensed so I sent her home. The doctor comes there and says she is recovering, we recorded CCTV footage. Footage shows Ruksaar moving her hands and feet. Kabir and Zara smile seeing it. The doctor says there is nothing to worry about, he leaves.

Kabir and Zara are in the car, Kabir says soon I will be yours completely when Ruksaar wakes up. Zara smiles and says you know the meaning of becoming mine fully? Zara says you will have to fulfill my wishes. Kabir says like? Zara says like if you like tea and I like coffee then I will start drinking tea too, true love is to give yourself completely to someone, where our happiness become one, you get happy to see me happy and vice versa. Kabir says so I am fully yours?

Zara says ask yourself, if you were mine then Ruksaar wouldn’t be in your life, if you were fully mine then you wouldn’t break my friend’s heart, we don’t know when Ruksaar will wake up but you can come to Reema’s party and prove that you are fully mine. Kabir looks on. They stop at a signal, a kid comes to Kabir and asks him to buy firecrackers, he has to pay for school. Kabir is about to give him money but Zara says we don’t buy Diwali stuff.

Kabir looks on and gives him money, he takes lanterns and firecrackers from him, kid wishes him Diwali, Kabir says happy Diwali, kid leaves. Zara says pinch me, you are wonderful. She smiles at him.

Kabir and Zara come home. Zara smiles and says we will go to the Diwali party. Kabir says I have some work and leaves. Zeenat thinks I thought they would be fighting but its something else here. Ayesha says I didn’t know Kabir would agree. Alina and Ayesha say we will go. Zara asks Shahbaz if he will come? Shahbaz says some friends called me so I can’t come, say sorry to Reema. Zara looks at Zeenat. Zeenat says don’t even ask me, Ruksaar has a fever. Zara says the doctor said that fever is good, it shows she will come to consciousness soon.

Zara comes in the room and sees Kabir packing, she asks where are you going? Kabir says a client called and said that you must not be celebrating Diwali so come to Dubai for a meeting. Zara is stunned and says you are not going to Reema’s house? Kabir says why are you stubborn? when did I say I will go? I am not going very far, I will come tomorrow. Zara says I thought you would come to Reema’s house with me, you ate that ghujia too.

Zara’s Nikah 28 September 2020 update ends as Kabir says I ate them because you made them, I helped that kid as he needed school fees, it has nothing to do with the Diwali party. He calls and says you are outside to take me to the airport? I am coming, he ends the call and says to Zara that I know I might hurt you, I am sorry, she looks away. Kabir takes his bag and says goodbye. Zara doesn’t even look at him as he leaves. Zara says he really broke my heart today.
