“You’re Not The Woman I Thought You Were”, Quavo Replies Saweetie

American rapper, Quavo has expressed disappointment after his former girlfriend, Saweetie, accused him of cheating in her tweets about their breakup.

It was earlier reported how Saweetie announced their split on Twitter, where she seemingly hinted that Quavo’s infidelity was the cause for their breakup.

Saweetie noted that she had endured too much betrayal and hurt behind the scenes for a false narrative to be circulating that degrades her character.

Reacting on his Twitter page, Quavo expressed his disappointment that she was trying to make a show from their relationship of nearly two years.

He wrote, “I know you want to make this into a show so I’ll play my part just this one time. I don’t normally put my business out there, especially my personal life. I feel the need to address this so there are no false narratives.

“I had love for you and disappointed you did all that. You are not the woman I thought you were. I wish you nothing but the best ????????.”

Saweetie responded to his rebuttal with a simple, “Take care.”

The breakup rumours between them started spreading after people found out the two had unfollowed each other on Instagram.

The couple first linked-up in 2018 after Quavo slid into her DM, and they had spoken glowingly about each other as recently as January of this year.
