For years now, Winners Concept Media has been taking newspapering with a bang.
The news platform which is touted to be an independent, pro-investigation multi-media online news platform is focused primarily on politics, policy, and the economy.
The online paper was unveiled at a colorful ceremony that was headlined by some of Nigeria’s business and political leaders.
The media company’s chief executive officer, Mmadubugwu Nonso Justice explained that NewsOnline Nigeria is positioned to deliver knowledge-driven journalism in the pursuit of Nigeria’s progress while aiming to become Nigeria’s number one online newspaper source for verifiable and undiluted news.
The paper, he said, will target political and business leaders while also appealing to millions of the country’s youths. He expects that within a year, the paper would be able to stamp its influence on the market and become a dominant player in the field.
Mr. Justice later stated that the news platform would be tailored to meet the
needs of an increasingly diversified readership base both in Nigeria and outside the shores of the country.
As part of its special offerings the newspaper plans to partner with NGO (Girl Wey Sabi Initiative) to launch a project which is expected to focus on MEDIA CAMPAIGNS and Advocacy programs FOR SOCIAL CHANGE.
‘With great powers, comes great responsibility. We would be shying away from our responsibility if we refuse to highlight the effect of the media in our society. This segment focuses on social change and the role of the media in our everyday lives.’ Mr Justice said.
