Kwara Govt has suspended Madrasa’s head over the brutal flogging of students.
Glamtush reports that the leader of the Madrasa Arabic school in Ilorin, Kwara state where some students were seen being flogged brutally, has been suspended by the government of the state.
Commissioner for Education and Human Capital Development, Hajia Sa’adatu Modibbo Kawu in a statement on Sunday said the school principal has been asked to step aside, while a panel has been set up to investigate the incident.
The statement reads,”A Kwara State Government’s delegation has visited the Arabic school whose students were seen in a video footage being punished for alleged conducts conceived to be contrary to the rules of the school.
