Glamtush reports that some traditional rulers and members of the Royal Fathers Association in South West Nigeria have stormed the redemption camp to publicly denounce their gods and choose to follow Jesus.
According to Kemi Filani the traditional rulers in their royal attires on Wednesday, August 10, made the decree with a musical presentation on the altar during the ongoing 70th Annual RCCG Holy Ghost Convention of the church along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
“We have decided to follow Jesus, no turning back” the traditional rulers pledged, sang on the church altar and led the cheering congregation along.
During their ministration, Pastor Folu Adeboye, wife of the General Overseer, stood up and joined in the praising and dancing.
After their rendition, Pastor Adeboye remarked thus, “This is a new beginning, your joy has just started, it shall be well with you all.”
It will be recalled that Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), previously claimed some people mocked him when he lost one of his sons last year.
The man of God said God carried him when he was in the saddest period of his life in May 2021 after the death of his 42-year-old son, Dare.
He said, “Some of you have heard this before: when I was in the saddest period of my life, with so many questions and I know that even in my deep sorrow some people were still laughing at me, I got a text from one of my daughters.
All she said was: ‘Daddy, let God carry you’. And that put an end to any problem; it ended my sorrows. It renewed my faith.”
