A stray bullet has killed a student going to write his WAEC Exam in Ibadan.
Glamtush reports that a tragic event occurred in Alaakia just this morning, as a WAEC candidate was killed by a stray bullet from a police officer.
This news platform understands that the incident happened while the student was on his way to sit for his examination.
Reports indicate that police were in pursuit of a Hilux vehicle suspected to be “Yahoo boys” when they opened fire.
Unfortunately, a stray bullet struck the student, who was in his father’s car, resulting in his death. The incident has sparked outrage and calls for immediate investigation into the actions of the police officer.
He was quickly taken to Welfare Hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.
