Six suspects have been arrested over the murder of South African rapper AKA.
Glamtush reports that six suspects have been arrested over the murder of popular South African rapper, Kiernan Forbes, better known as AKA.
This online newspaper recalls that AKA was shot dead alongside his friend outside a restaurant in the coastal city of Durban in February 2023.
AKA and his best friend, Tebello ‘Tibz’ Motshoane, were shot dead at close range by two armed men while walking to their car.
In a viral clip on the internet, Mkhwanazi, a lieutenant-general, explained how the suspects were arrested and the roles they played in the rapper’s death.
“It was clear that AKA was monitored from the airport and Tibz was not the intended target in the murder on Florida Road in Durban.
“We know they were paid for this,” he said.
