VIDEO: Facebook User Apologises To Comedian AY After Spreading False Allegations

A Facebook user has apologised to comedian AY after spreading false allegations.

Glamtush reports that a Facebook user identified as Agozi Samuel, with the account name, Agozi Commedy, has appealed to popular comedian Ayo Makun, also known as AY, to forgive him for speaking ill against him, adding that he did it “out of hunger” and because he wanted to trend.

AY had earlier revealed on Monday that he had petitioned the Delta State Police Command over “criminal defamation and cyberstalking” by Agozi.

According to the petition, Agozi through his Facebook account, had accused the comedian of having an extra-marital affair with May Edochie, the wife of actor Yul Edochie, and hence responsible for the marital crisis between the couple.

A few hours following AY’s post, Agozi shared a video on his Facebook account appealing to the comedian to forgive him.

He said, “Comedian AY, I’m very sorry for everything that happened. I’m begging you that whatever thing I did, I did it out of hunger.

“I’m sorry for speaking against your child, the little baby that doesn’t know anything. And I’m sorry for speaking ill against you.

“I was depressed. On my page, people don’t follow me. People don’t watch my skits, so I needed to do something to trend, that was why.

“It was not my intention to bring you down and it can never be my intention. Please forgive me.

“You’re my senior colleague, you’re my senior brother. Please, forgive me, It’ll never happen again.”

In a video Agozi shared on Sunday, Agozi had also stated that he had deleted the videos from his page.

He said, “AY please forgive me, I’m very very sorry. Please forgive me for the video, I just did. I’ve deleted all those videos from my page. I want to tell the public that the videos I did were fake. I just did that to get popularity.

“Life here in Sierra Leone is hard. I needed to trend, I needed to make money so that I would not come back to Nigeria empty-handed. I did not do the video because somebody paid me to spoil your name. And I’m not doing this apology video because AY or anybody else chatted with me. Nobody chatted me. I slept over it and I know that what I did was very bad. AY please forgive me and I promise you that this thing will not happen again”

How it started

According to the Facebook user, AY has been having an extramarital affair with May Edochie, Yul Edochie’s wife, reason why the marriage of the celebrity couple crashed.

The Facebook user also alleged that the second daughter of comedian AY does not belong to him but to his security man.

“You slept with May. Because of you, Yul Edochie and his wife separated because you’re having an affair with Yul Edochie’s wife which is May. The general public did not know what was happening even in the Court case that was going on the general public did not know.”

‘’I told you on the 31st night that in 2024, I will be the one to bring you down for you to bring down in 2024. For you to bring down a home that lasted for many years, you made them separated, you made the wife live differently and the husband. What are you looking for in somebody’s wife that your wife does not have?”

“Your plan now is to go and marry May. I know all your plans, you want to go and marry May. You think I don’t know?”

This is what happened. AY slept with May Edochie, that was why Yul Edochie and May Edochie are not together today.”
