Veteran Yoruba actor Olofaina is dead.
Glamtush reports that veteran Yoruba actor, Adedeji Aderemi, also known as Olofaina is dead.
This online newspaper gathered that Olofaina died today, Thursday, January 4 at the age of 74.
Actor Saidi Balogun announced the death of the actor with his photo on his Instagram with the caption, “Good Night Legend chief Adedeji Aderemi i (Olofa Ina) RIP.”
The deceased, who is from Ede in Osun State, lived in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital for many years.
His close associate, Chief Musliu Dadofunjo, also known as Baba Jogunomi, confirmed the death of the actor on Thursday.
Dadofunjo said that the deceased died Thursday evening.
He said, “He died this evening. He has a house in Ibadan but he has returned to Ede where died at the age of 74.”
He was formerly the Solaloju of Ede and was upgraded to Majeobaje of Ede.
Olofaina featured in various epic Yoruba movies such as Ogbori Elemoso, Ayanmo, Bashorun Gaa, Afonja.
