Veteran Nollywood Actor, Pete Edochie Clocks 70

Veteran Nollywood actor, Pete Edochie, clocks 70-year-old today, Tuesday, March 7. To celebrate him, his handsome actor son, Yul Edochie,  took to  social media to pen down a few lovely words.

He wrote:
“Happy 70th birthday to my father, Chief Pete Edochie. I thank God for your life and i pray you see many more great years. God be with you always Dad!”

Pete Edochie was born on 7 March 1947 in Enugu, Nigeria. He is considered one of Africa’s most talented actors, by both Movie Awards and Movie Magic’s Africa Magic Cable network.

Although a seasoned administrator and broadcaster, he came into prominence in the 1980s when he played the lead role of Okonkwo in an NTA adaptation of Chinua Achebe’s all-time best selling novel, Things Fall Apart.

Happy birthday to this Nollywood Legend!
