The final journey of Nigerian veteran filmmaker and erstwhile defacto BOT Chairman, Chief Eddie Ugbomah begins tomorrow, Thursday, July 11.
According to a statement by Fred Amata, President, Directors Guild of Nigeria (DGN), the event will commence with a service of songs/Industry Tribute night and candlelight event. The event will take place at the National Theatre Exhibition Hall 1, Iganmu, Surulere, Lagos at 3:00 pm.
There will also be a brief Lying-In-State ceremony and burial service on Friday, July 12 at the VIP Lounge, National Theatre (Entrance A) and National Theatre Exhibition hall 2 respectively. at 9:00 am.
After which there will be a reception for guest at the same venue.
This will be followed by the committal to mother earth at his Lagos home in Ilogbo, Oko Afo Area of Lagos state.
Members of DGN are expected to don colours of DGN at the lying-in-state.
