Veteran Actor Prince James Uche Dies At 55

Popular actor, Prince James Uche who had been battling Diabetes, blindness, high blood pressure and and kidney disease has died at the age of 55.

According to various sources, he died at a private hospital in Festac town where he had been receiving treatment for about two years now. Apparently he had been unconscious for the past 5 days and was said to be on his way for dialysis in an ambulance when he died at about 2:15 p.m, today, Wednesday, March 8.

He was also scheduled to travel to India this Saturday for further treatment.

Last year, his son publicly announced his sick status asking for donations to help keep his father alive. Then the Governor of Abia State Okezie Ikpeazu with the help of other well-wishers in the state raised N14 million to help him out this was after actor Emeka Ike revealed why people were adamant to come to his aid.

Prince James Uche is an actor, known for Igodo (1999), Coronation 2 (2004) and The Councillor (2005).

He is  survived by a wife and three children. May his soul rest in peace, Amen.
