Ukraine President Zelenskiy Tests Positive For COVID-19

 

 

 

 

Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelenskiy, on Monday, confirmed that he tested positive for COVID-19.

Zelenskiy, who disclosed this in a tweet, said he will continue to work in self-isolation while being treated for the virus.

He tweeted, “There are no lucky people for whom #COVID19 does not pose a threat. Despite all the quarantine measures, I received a positive test.

”However, I feel good. I promise to isolate myself and I continue to work.”

A total of 8,565 people have died of COVID-19 in Ukraine.
