‘Two And A Half Men’ Star Conchata Ferrell Dies At 77 Following Cardiac Arrest
Conchata Ferrell, who became known for her role as Berta the housekeeper on the television series, ‘Two and a Half Men’, has died aged 77.
Ferrell died on Monday at Sherman Oaks Hospital in Los Angeles following cardiac arrest, according to publicist Cynthia Snyder
Confirming her demise, Dan Spilo, her manager, described her as a “wonderful, kind-hearted, strong woman,” said she died around 12:30 p.m. on October 12 from complications following a cardiac arrest.
Conchata reportedly died peacefully surrounded by her family at Sherman Oaks Hospital.
Sheen tweeted her death as “a shocking and painful loss.”
Jon Cryer, her costar on “Two and a Half Men,” offered a tribute via Twitter.
He wrote; “She was a beautiful human. Berta’s gruff exterior was an invention of the writers. Chatty’s warmth and vulnerability were her real strengths. I’m crying for the woman I’ll miss, and the joy she brought so many.”
