Toke Makinwa Rocks Updated Version Of Jennifer Lopez’s Iconic Green Versace Dress

We all know that On-Air-Personality and businesswoman, Toke Makinwa, loves to be the center of attention at major events. And she always nails her look.

She didn’t also disappoint her fans as she stepped on the black carpet at the Moet and Chandon’s ‘A Night with the stars’ looking breathtaking in the updated version of Jennifer Lopez’s Iconic green Versace dress on Sunday evening.

Her team did an amazing job putting her stunning look together. Her stunning jungle green dress was designed by 2207bytbally and she was styled by fashion stylist, Dami Oke. Her face beat was beautifully done by Anita Brows. To complete her evening look, she spotted a ponytail hairstyle and harmonized her outfit with complementing earrings, ankle strap sandals and clutch.

It would be recalled that in 2000, actress Jennifer Lopez popularly known as J.Lo wore a plunging, jungle green Versace dress to the 42nd Grammy Awards. Although she didn’t exactly break the Internet that night in 2000, it caused so many searches on Google that the company was inspired to create Google Image search.

Last year, nearly 20 years after she stepped out in the sheer barely-there, navel-baring Versace dress, J.Lo closed the Versace’s 2020 Spring Show at Milan Fashion Week wearing a dress similar to the iconic green, plunging gown she debuted at the 2000 Grammy’s. The famous green dress updated version is sleeveless, backless and has embellishments on top of the jungle print.

The surprise appearance prompted many people in the audience to stand up and pull out their smartphones to capture a video of what has quickly become the most-talked-about moment of Milan Fashion Week.
