Three Suspects Paraded For Murder Of Senator Yayi’s Aide

Three suspected have been paraded for the murder of Senator Yayi’s aide.

 

Glamtus reports that the Lagos State Police Command has paraded three male suspects in connection with the robbery and murder of Adeniyi Sanni, an aide to Senator Solomon Adeola, also known as Yayi.

This online newspaper gathered that the arrest was disclosed on Monday by the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Idowu Owohunwa, during a press briefing at the command’s headquarters in Ikeja, Lagos.

Sanni died on August 5 when he was intercepted by some individuals at a checkpoint in Ojodu Berger while en route to his home in Lagos.

The arrested suspects are Fred Azeez Okuno, a 43-year-old resident of Lagos; Lucky Idudu Michael, a 33-year-old from Delta State; and Adedigba Segun, a 26-year-old from Ibadan, Oyo state.

“Through painstaking intelligence and investigative activities which brought out the best in the capacity of Lagos Police Command, we have succeeded in arresting the syndicate of the robbery and murder. The three suspects directly involved in the robbery and murder were arrested with three firearms including the killer’s weapon were recovered,” Lagos CP said.
