Karan died while treating Covid patients and leaves behind his parents and pregnant wife Amrita, who is also hopeful – she’s all about keeping things positive by finding the sunshine in mundane things.

A series of financial misfortunes leads the family into a situation where they need to take in a tenant.

Enter the mysterious Pritam Choudhary, a grumpy loner and complete pessimist.

The series explores what happens when Amrita and Pritam’s contrasting personalities encounter each other when he moves in with the Sakhujas.

Added to the mix: Pritam’s former tragic life involving a wife, son and crime.
