What happens when a well-known reporter unsuspectingly reports the news of her son’s death in a live broadcast? Heartbreaking, right? And how will she and her family handle the mysteries behind his death in the new telenovela, “The son I never knew” (Vuelve Temprano) which will be airing on Telemundo on DStv and Gotv from Monday, January 23?
“The son I never knew” tells the story of Clara and Santiago, a couple who seems to have the perfect life until everything collapses and they realize that they know their children much less than they believed.
Clara’s last words to her son, Ignacio before he parted were “Don’t be late.” The next time she would hear about him was the news of his death in a car accident during a live broadcast, which she narrated herself on the morning news. Sadly, her perfect life was falling apart right in front of her eyes. This time, she was the news story.
And from that moment on, nothing remained the same for Clara, her husband, Santiago, a renowned attorney who happily watched their son and two daughters, Isabel and Florencia happily grow up especially after learning that Ignacio’s death was not an accident.
Since Clara does not believe in the version of the authorities, she will investigate what really happened with her son, as such learns of the terrible things about her and her family.
The series features Gabriela de la Garza as Clara, Mario Cimarro as Inspector Antonio, Rubén Zamora as Santiago.
