Telemundo’s new series, The Search for Frida (Buscando a Frida) premieres on Monday, January 10 at 22h00
The thriller replaces Loli’s Luck! which ended in December.
The Search for Frida is a 2021 adaptation of Telemundo’s 2010 series Where is Elisa? and it follows the Pons family, a high-class family whose perfect world is shattered when their 16-year-old daughter, Frida, suddenly disappears on the night of her father’s birthday.
Frida is the oldest daughter of multimillionaire engineer Abelardo Pons and Marcela Bribiesca, a wealthy couple whose lives appear to be happy and perfect.
After Frida’s disappearance, secrets surrounding each member of the family and their close friends begin to be revealed.
Lies, resentments and past stories are uncovered and demonstrate that the “happy and perfect” world they live in is merely a fantasy.
During the search for Frida, familial conflicts begin destroying the family unit and little by little, everyone becomes a suspect.
The cast includes newcomer Victoria White as Frida, Eduardo Santamarina (Lord of the Skies, Queen of the South 2) as her father Abelardo and Ximena Herrera (Lord of the Skies, Secrets at the Hotel) as her mother Marcela.
