A baby is born in a house in the ghettos. The mother (Cavidan for now – later to be Arzu) and Mukaddes are there. The mother leaves the baby behind.

Selim decides to take Cennet and Melisa to the construction area. This is good news for Cennet. She will have a chance to see how things work.

Cennet is heartbroken and disappointed. The buyers treated her so badly and now Selim gives her a pep talk.
